Plan and recommend procedures that will maximize revenues, occupancy and Yield in conformance with the standards of the Hotel management. Preparation of reservation reports with regards to VIP arrivals for the week, close-out dates, travel agent production, forecast, no-show, cancellation, sales production and outlook. Having full control on over-booking and peak period reservations on the books, ensuring maximum occupancy and average rates are obtained and conduct daily checks on reservation forecast and availability in the system. Keep a close watch daily on the reservations forecast and availability in the computer system and reports any irregularities to the Front Office Manager. Prepares monthly duty roster, taking into consideration peak periods, public holidays and leave applications. Prepares various monthly reports as assigned by Revenue Manager Prepares the outlook figures monthly for comparison of figures between budget and actual figures. Responsible for input of new contract rates and maintaining the IATA records. Any other ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by Revenue Manager. Requirements: Diploma in Hospitality / Hotel Management or related field 3 years' experience in Reservations Department in the Hotel industry Good interpersonal and communications skills Able to lead a team Proficient in Microsoft Office skills Good knowledge of Opera
