LOCATION
This position is located at our property in Amanpulo, Pamalican Island, Palawan, Philippines.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be proficient in the use of Micros, Opera, Reserve, Time-Force and Adaco systems
  • Firm knowledge of dining room and kitchen procedures required
  • Previous supervisory or management experience required

RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly responsible for the proper supervision and function of all Food and Beverage employees, facilities, operation, sales, costs and departmental profit.
Analyze F&B operations from the standpoint of operating costs, increasing sales, efficiency, merchandising principles, work simplification and sanitation; making specific correction and recommendations necessary for optimum performance.
Follow-up programs and policies to ensure compliance with prescribed methods and standards.
Provide functional assistance and direction to F&B supervisors in all matters pertaining to F&B operations.
Coordinate with the Purchasing agent to ensure that all purchases conform to specifications and quality standard.
Maintain an up-to-date standard recipe file showing a complete cost breakdown and preparation for all items on the items on the menus, as well as specialty items which would be considered use.
Develop or revise all s for the F&B Department to develop a more efficient team.
Make daily inspection of F&B Department including all restaurants, kitchen. Storeroom, and all other areas under his control.
Satisfying guest needs and exceeding their expectations by projecting a positive hotel image through proper grooming, appropriate verbal communication, and taking responsibility of guest needs.
Decision-making in line with service standards throughout service to ensure best the possible guest experience
Assist with maintaining control of beverage cost.
Assist with inventory of all F&B product, durable and non-durable items.
Run daily line-up and communicate pertinent information to the Food and Beverage staff.
Responsible for checking table settings and that the dining room is ready for our guests prior to each service period
Knowledge of all menu items and accompanying silverware.
Ensure that orders are relayed the kitchen in an accurate and timely manner.
Checking standards in the dining room to maintain consistency with the service standards put in place.
Ensure that the flow of the guest experience in the dining room is consistent and timely.
Communicating issues to upper management and recording on daily log
Handle guest complaints and questions in a professional manner
Performing other duties as assigned by management
Assisting in organizing the execution of special events and functions
Assist all staff in dining room with serving our guests when necessary
Maintaining overall cleanliness and tidiness of dining room and public spaces
Maintaining cleanliness of back of house and kitchen area
Completing opening & closing responsibilities
