Get to know the Role: The Lending team manages the Digital Bank's Cards and Lending products for Retail and MSME. Working closely with our various internal and external partners, we craft, develop, innovate and execute customer first value propositions that re-imagine banking for our retail and business customers, so we can empower them in their financial management journeys. We are looking for an experienced Micro and SME Lending Business Manager who has prior expert knowledge and experience managing these business lines, including those in the underserved segments. You would have a strong record of successful MSME lending product launches, and have full end to end product development and management experience. You are motivated and driven to re-imagine how banking services could be for our target business segment. You are a thought leader and a strategic thinker , and able to thrive in a VUCA environment. This role will be based in Singapore. You would be tasked to: . Lead in thinking and development of business strategies for Micro and Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) via digital platforms including lending products and other financial services to MSMEs operating in underserved segments . Lead in efforts to conceptualize, spearhead product development to out-serve our customers by leveraging technology, data, and partnerships . Provide thought leadership in MSME lending methodologies, leverage alternative data to support our target segments and work closely with the risk management team to drive optimisation . Identify areas for growth and create strategic product lines to address market and business needs, . Develop partnerships with internal and ecosystem partners to strengthen financial infrastructures for MSMEs . Lead the implementation of the MSME lending business strategies , provide technical input in the product development process, own and manage P&L of the business . Drive customer satisfaction through nett promoter score, Bank satisfaction metrics . Ensure all products fulfil all regulatory requirements . Adopt a Digital first mindset to automate processes, tracking, operationalization of frameworks etc . Be fully up to date with the banking, competitive, macro and economic landscape . Oversee all commercial and legal negotiations with prospective partners. You would have: . Minimum 10 years of banking experience in the area of MSME lending, services and processes. . Minimum 3 years of management experience. . Strategic and growth mindset with strong problem solving skills, proactive, resourceful, independent and technologically savvy . Good knowledge of credit risk management know-how, best practices in MSME lending in Singapore and South East Asia . Proven ability to manage stakeholders, processes and technical requirements to meet customers and business needs . Strong analytical skills , understands P&L drivers, able to develop business case . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders and partners . Adaptability to thrive in an agile, fluid environment with ability to manage ambiguity . Strong leadership personality who displays integrity, humility, hunger responsibility and ownership .
