Job Description

To trace and monitor contacts of infected individuals and provide information and guidance to reduce spread.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coordinate contact tracing efforts with the relevant parties and complete the case investigation in a timely manner.
2. Conduct interviews in a professional and empathetic manner to trace those in close contact with the diagnosed case and to determine the exposure.
3. Ensure timely and accurate recording of information of contacts and actions based on operational guidelines and procedures.
4. Provide information on isolation and quarantine procedures based on protocols and procedures.
5. Monitor the symptoms of those who are put on isolation or quarantine order and the health status of those who are put on health monitoring;
6. Collaborate with regulatory bodies in supporting the isolation and quarantine of staff.
7. Maintain accurate data and information for surveillance and to enable epidemiological data analysis and investigations into diseases and clinical practice patterns.
8. Assist any other projects and tasks assigned by the Head of Clinical Epidemiology Unit, the Head of Infectious Diseases and the Chairman Medical Board (CMB).

REQUIREMENTS

• Recognised Degree
• Able to type fast and enter the information collected via phone into an excel sheet
• Able to communicate well and empathize well with patients, good communication skills over the phone.
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
