DESIGNATION : Senior Executive (Supplier Partnership)

RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent will report to the Manager, Supplier Partnerships and will work closely with business partners and internal stakeholders to develop and manage aspects of the business relationship between Product & Supply Chain team and suppliers to ensure optimum and uninterrupted supply of goods to the business.
He/she shall be responsible for ensuring successful execution of end-to-end supply and delivery chain, maintain a high level of service level with deep understanding of total FMCG industry performance from the retailer perspective.
He/she will be responsible for generating weekly/monthly reports, analyse business performance, in collaboration with Product team and suppliers, ensure timely execution of business plans to maintain a competitive advantage to drive profitability growth.
Roles & Responsibilities

• To engage key Business Partner, Product and Supply Chain teams through performance analysis, providing customer-led insights on ways to strengthen the partnerships and business growth.
• Proactively communicate critical inventory deviations / supply risks with both internal and external stakeholders and implement contingency plans to ensure supply continuity.
• Provide regular end-to-end stock updates, promotional trends and relevant supply data to strengthen the service level.
• Collaborate with Product team to build short term and long term demand forecast.
• Analyse and prepare inventory data for expiry, slow moving goods, collaborate with Products, stores and suppliers to execute Returns and/or write-off, where appropriate.
• Generate sales package quotation, follow up on new inquiries, cost studies and close the sales to meet the targets.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent with minimum 2 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategic planning and/ or financial planning.
• Working experience in retail industry and/or preferably, with experience in global consumer packaged goods.
• Supply chain and inventory management knowledge.
• Excellent financial, modelling and data analytics skill with strong business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable data and presentation.
• Excellent presentation skills that encompass clear, compelling communications tailored to different group of stakeholders.
• Able to work independently, motivated, meticulous and results oriented.
• Resourceful and problem solver.
