What the role is:Drug abuse is a worsening global problem that harms millions of people. It destroys individuals, destabilises families and disrupts the workforce. We are looking for someone who is passionate about keeping Singapore drug-free and who enjoys working with our key stakeholders, partners and volunteer advocates to bring out our collaborative vision of a Drug-Free Singapore. The officer will join the social media team within the broader Public Communications Unit. This unit handles a variety of tasks, including social media, media relations, public feedback and internal communications.What you will be working on:The scope of work of the Team includes: \xe2\x80\xa2 Social Media Strategy and Content Creation: Conceptualise, develop and implement social media strategies to boost the visibility of anti-drug messages and the CNB brand. This includes researching trends, creating engaging content, crafting copy, supporting event coverage and working with vendors. \xe2\x80\xa2 Social Media Platform Management: Manage and monitor CNB\'s social media accounts, and other social media pages. This includes assessing and responding to feedback. \xe2\x80\xa2 Social Media Insights and Reporting: Track performance and analyse data for insights on audience engagement and strategy effectiveness, and prepare regular management reports. \xe2\x80\xa2 Capability Development: Assist with budget, resource planning, and procurement for social media operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Media Monitoring & Relations: Monitor media and online sentiments, manage media relations, and support crisis communications.What we are looking for:Job Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Highly committed and full of initiative. \xe2\x80\xa2 Willing to learn and try. \xe2\x80\xa2 Team player with strong interpersonal skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Some experience in marketing, event organising, public affairs or corporate communications would be an asset. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepared to work on some weekday evenings and weekends, where necessary. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to multi-task and work well under tight deadlines.
