Job Description

Reporting directly to the Director to assist in the development and implementation of quality, effective and relevant Sports outreach engagement programmes and marketing efforts for the department. Responsibilities include overseeing and guiding the team to work closely with different stakeholders to establish rewarding relationships, build up on resources and synergise efforts. To undertake other related tasks assigned and adopt creative thinking in generating ideas and solutions, in alignment with strategic directions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To assist in developing and implementing plans and goals for the department
• To oversee the team in the implementation of Sports and Wellness programmes/ initiatives to outreach, connect and empower the Labour Movement's workforce.
• To guide team in identifying, nurture and build rewarding connections and collaborations with existing and new strategic partnerships to strengthen community involvement, elevate brand presence and generate potential new business opportunities.
• To oversee and promote the growth and development of positive and active pool of volunteers and advocates that can self-perpetuate, lead, influence, and mentor the community.
• To oversee department's marketing visual artwork, contents for social media channel and applications to elevate branding and expand the engagement outreach.
• To work closely with internal stakeholders - NTUC Club's entities and communities - as well as Labour Movement's network of unions and affiliated associations to foster strong ground support for better integration and management of resources and efforts.
• To analyse, review and approve reports for submission
• To ensure that the department perform within the given budget and to achieve the desired ROI
• To constantly improve department efficiency through formulation of SOPs and policies
• Any other responsibilities / tasks as assigned by Head of Department

Requirements

• Recognized University Degree/ Diploma
• At least 8 years relevant working experience
• Possesses sports event management, community engagement, partnership relationship management, marketing and social media qualities and experiences will be advantageous
• Good social networking and negotiation skills
• Has conceptual and analytical skills
• Has high-level of professionalism, integrity, and tact
• Ability to execute good judgement, work under pressure and a can-do spirit
• Enterprising with ability to put ideas into action
• A team player and adaptable to embrace changes

Preferred Knowledge & Skills

• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Essential presentation and meticulous organizational capabilities.
• Knowledge in MS Office
• Marketing/ Social media skillsets a plus
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Aptitude in problem-solving
