We are looking for a high-performing and driven Senior Manager, Training & Development reporting directly to the Head, Digital Technologies & Solutions and the Group CEO & COO Office. The successful candidate will help meet our employee growth objectives, including successful delivery of training and development programmes within the Meinhardt Group.

Senior Manager, Training & Development responsibilities include assisting the Head, Digital Technologies & Solutions to strategise internship and talent management programmes and work with the HR team in identifying the talents for future emplacement in critical roles that will help to grow the BU within the Meinhardt Group.

He / She shall be responsible for the training and professional development of the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s employees. The purpose is to help employees develop to their full potential. The Senior Manager, Training & Development, keeps a strong focus not just on what the learners wants and needs, but also on the needs of the organisation. He / She is responsible for:

Develop and implement training & development strategies and programmes that are aligned with the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s objectives;

Manage communication of training & development strategies and employee participation across various training & development programmes;

Recommend indicators for talent assessment to identify high-potential talent and implement high-potential programmes;

Stay abreast of the latest developments in learning trends, changes in learning theory, and developments in learning technologies;

Acts as the principal point of contact for anyone with questions about training and development;

Responsibilities

Plan and lead the training department to achieve company\xe2\x80\x99s set goals;

Create learning and development programs aligned with business needs and drive business outcomes;

Evaluate and, where appropriate, work with training providers on training programs based on organizational and employee needs.;

Observing, analysing, and offering suggestions to continuously improve training operations;

Monitor and discuss with instructor on the training solution, methodology in delivering the modules to learners;

Conduct regular reviews with instructors as part of curriculum refinement effort;

Leverage Learning Management System (LMS), if any, for KPI tracking & reporting;

Engage and foster partnership through outreach and collaboration with institutions, including intermediaries such as universities, professional associations, unions, to understand training needs and foster meaningful relationships with partners; to engage and encourage new partnership opportunities;

Partner with strategic partners and collaborators to co-organise events and programmes, which will include workshops, roadshows and jobs and skills fairs, targeted at promoting skills and training advisory, enhancing the employability of individuals and engage the community in their lifelong learning and skills upgrading journey;

Support on-site event deployment operations;

Prepare training reports when required by HQ.

Requirements

Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager or similar;

Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods;

Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices;

Experience in project management and budgeting;

Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS);

Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen;

Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors;

Professional certification (e.g. ACLP) is a plus.
