Opening Team We are looking for a dynamic, creative and passionate Pastry Chef with leadership qualities to be responsible for crafting delicious desserts and confectionary, designing seasonal menus Opening Team We are looking for a dynamic, creative and passionate Pastry Chef with leadership qualities to be responsible for crafting delicious desserts and confectionary, designing seasonal menus and developing new recipes for our new shop around Hougang/Kovan/Yio Chu Kang area! Roles & Responsibilities include and not limited to, Operating and managing daily operations of pastries production such as, preparation of ingredients for making pastries. baking, assembling, decorating, frosting, presenting and packaging a wide variety of quality pastries (whole cakes, sliced cakes, brownies, tarts, cookies, macarons, Choux pastries etc.) This includes the process from planning the products, weighing and measuring ingredients for various pastries, making creams, curds, and other fillings, to glazing, decorating and packaging them. Keeping up with the latest trends. R&D, Creating new menu items, seasonal items and execution of recipes. Minimise wastage of ingredients and stock. Ensure freshness of all ingredients and products. Ordering new supplies, ingredients and equipment when needed and with management approval. Ensure all SOPs for suppliers, products, equipments are met and constantly review SOPs with Management. Maintain high levels of compliance of food hygiene and safety standards for food storage and work areas. Ensuring work areas are tidy, clean and sanitized at all times.
