Job Description

:

• You will lead the Construction / Project team with high performance and collaborative culture ensuring a successful construction / project delivery with safety, quality, schedule, cost and ultimate client satisfaction.
  

• Identify the skills and resources required to successfully deliver the project.
  

• Review the engineering works pertaining to design to ensure that it meets contractual requirement, codes and standards, accessibility, constructability and operability.
  

• Ensure all engineering submissions and revisions are delivered on time.
  

• Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
  

• Review and provide guidance to engineers.
  

• Provide technical input, support and solutions for all technical proposals, tenders or any arising issues.
  

• Liaise with clients, consultants and other subcontractors.
  

• Study the scope of works and prepare construction methodology based on the approved drawings and site conditions.
  

• Prepare presentation for the sequence of installation required by the clients.
  

• Develop and implement quality control programs.
  

• Site inspections to ensure that the installation works are in accordance with the approved drawings and project specifications.
  

• Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports.
  

• Investigate defects and recommend for continual improvement on the design / fabrication / installation.
  

• Conduct regular reviews of the EHS Plans; Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures and safety codes are being carried out.
  

. Business / commercial acumen and ability to steer through the complexities / challenges of design, production and installation is expected.

Education and experience requirements:

• Bachelor, Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 10 - 15 years of experience in the facade industry having handled different types of facades / curtainwall / cladding / business envelopes
• Solid all round exposure in engineering, design, production, installation and related logistics in façade industry must be demonstrated.
