Division: ChemicalPosition: South Asia Downstream Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Sustainable PackagingReport to: South Asia Commercial DirectorLocation: SingaporeKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis position is established to work together with upstream team on expansion of Milliken & Company\xe2\x80\x99s Chemical business in packaging market in South Asia

• Direct in-depth contact with market, managing strategic CPG and food brands in order to promote PP material containing Milliken additives to replace other material.
• Capture and develop potential opportunities in packaging market, for material replacement opportunity (Using PP replacing others) to promote Milliken additives and provide service.
• Support sales team with developed marketing tools, such as market trends & insights, conceptualized packaging solution, color trends, new packaging design and etc for promoting business at CPG brands, packaging manufacturer and channel/platform owners.
• Attend trade shows, conferences and technical meetings involved in the promotion of PP material containing Milliken additives. Organizing seminars/event for packaging market promotion. Working with packaging design company promoting Milliken technology.
• Identify new markets for Milliken Chemical\xe2\x80\x99s products. Continuously gather competitive information and report to management.
• On a continuing basis review and recommend changes that need to be made in Milliken\xe2\x80\x99s sales / market strategies.
• Using computer and email to report global business units in line with business requirements. Well conduct with CRM system of Milliken after training.
• Other related work accordingly to the work requirements.

• Bachelor or Masters Degree preferred in Marketing, Polymer, Chemistry or Material Science or packaging science
• More than 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in CPG industry\xef\xbc\x88marketing\xef\xbc\x8cbranding, packaging design/development experienced preferred\xef\xbc\x89, familiar with the industry and having direct experience with major packaging suppliers, design companies. Should have good contacts and be well respected in his/her current job.
• Must have the ability and presence to contact at high levels of marketing, packaging development, technical and production of local and multi-national CPG & food companies, plastic packaging manufactures. Should be comfortable and willing to develop relationships with lower operational and administrative levels.
• The ability to adapt to company culture is important. Strategic thinking is important. Being an \xe2\x80\x9cambassador\xe2\x80\x9d to represent Milliken\xe2\x80\x99s products, services, and business offerings. Strong sales/development capability is required.
• Frequent traveling is needed for this position.
