Role Responsibilities
As a team player and take control of the team and manage them. Prepare duty roster, plan and coverage of absentee. The AV TO is managed, the Maintenance and Operation of the Audio and Visual Systems in Auditorium, Theatre of the Art, Lecture Theatres, Meeting Rooms, and Atrium. The scope of work is involved with maintenance of the Seating retractable chairs per site. To attend to all Breakdown Maintenance (BM) works for the AV Systems including the following:

• Attend to service requests/faults by maintenance staff on site ;
• Carry out to manage the service requests/faults;
• Record and submit status reports;
• Feedback on progress of repair/rectification works by contractors.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot faults;
• Diagnose causes and propose remedial actions;
• Take action to prevent repeated faults;
• Carry out all other BM works as instructed by NYP from time to time;
• Execute and complete the above works within the specified time

stipulated in the Contract or as instructed and directed by NYP.
To manage the Integrated Security System (CCTV) and carry out monthly PM. He is to ensure that the (Managing a computerized maintenance & inspection system) - (CMIS), is constantly update to manage the preventive maintenance of the AV Systems. To assist Engineer to provide NYP a monthly work schedule covering all routine and preventive maintenance works and submit into the CMIS system. To assist Engineer and ensure an incident report shall be submitted within 24 hours. AV TO to attend immediately to any service requests, breakdowns, faults, feedback, works or defects reported to him or work requested by the User or NYP through the maintenance hotline / emails / SMS alerts / NYP workflow system or by any other means. AV TO to ensure that Response Time or the Rectification Time is 15 mins during Normal Hours and 1 hr after 2300 hrs to 0700 hrs. AV TO to ensure that these systems are operational at all time:-

• Audio and Visual system, Media System, etc. in Boardroom, Auditorium, Theatre for the Arts, NYP lounge, A536.
• Integrated Security System including Server, Gateways, Workstations, CCTVs, card readers, car park barrier, auto-flap gate and all related security field devices

AV TO to take note that the servicing will include but not limited to the following to ensure that the equipment is in good working conditions:

• general cleaning, adjustment, alignment, convergence and fine-tuning of the equipment, where applicable.
• visual inspection for mechanical wear and tear including electrical continuity check.
• operational equipment & component check with replacement if necessary.
• submission of report for work performed during each visit.

AV TO need to attend Daily Toolbox meeting conduct by Engineer.
Education Qualification/ Experience
Diploma in Audio Video Certificate
2-4 yrs experience in handling music, talk event. Able to carry setting up of AV system for play, meeting, or events. Trouble-shooting in finding faults and correct to its original state. Experience in sound engineering. Record down client details and follow up to closed request. Able to understand some basic facilities systems. Able to plan and carry out preventive maintenance for AV systems.Sound Engineering certificate
Able to communicate at all level with client.
