What the role is:The Public Service Division\'s Human Capital Cluster plans, formulates and implements human capital policies and initiatives for the Public Service Division, Prime Minister\'s Office. We strive to build and foster a high performing and engaged workforce to ensure that PSD has the capability and capacity to deliver on its organisational mission and strategic goals.What you will be working on:We are looking for individuals who are passionate in the people business to join our HR operations team to provide HR support to our departments and employees. You will support the day-to-day HR functions and work alongside us to develop and deliver integrated HR Services for our clusters, including: \xe2\x80\xa2 [Payroll] \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide timely support in payroll activities (e.g. payroll cycles, billings, recoveries, checking of payroll reports and alerts) \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide first-line support to queries on payroll-related matters \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain tracking of payroll activities and recoveries to ensure timely processing \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with Vital and other business stakeholders on cases or system issues to recommend first-cut response or solutions \xe2\x80\xa2 [Workforce Planning] \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and maintain the organisation data (e.g. creation of Position IDs, ensuring officers\' positions are correctly captured in the organisation structure) within the Organisation Management (OM) module in the HR & Payroll System \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle straightforward queries and troubleshooting relating to OM, and work closely with vendor to ensure system functionality \xe2\x80\xa2 [Workforce and Leadership Development] \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide administrative support in training matters (e.g. course registration) and the organisation of development programmes (e.g. managing trainee lists, proper set up of training venue, etc.) \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and track training budget and completion of mandatory training \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and maintain development databases such that they are accurate and complete to support analysis of data \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle straightforward queries and troubleshooting on technical/process queries who have issues with system access (e.g. LEARN) or applications for initiatives \xe2\x80\xa2 [Other Support] \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide administrative support to the Human Capital team in organisational events or initiatives, where neededWhat we are looking for:[Values] We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are meticulous, proactive and an excellent team player who can work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You highlight potential implementation issues and offer alternatives to the Business Partners. \xe2\x80\xa2 [HR Knowledge and Skills] Knowledge of HR policies and practices in various HR domains will be useful.
