Job Description


1. Role Description: This position plans organises and directs the operations of a restaurant to provide food and beverages to customers. He/she performs restaurant support functions such as customer service scheduling handling day-to-day operations cashiering closing of the till ordering inventory and back office support. He/she oversees the recruitment training and motivation of staff and maintains quality control hygiene and health and safety standards in the dining area. He/she manages inventories and interacts with customers wait staff and supports employees to ensure efficient operation.

2. Specific Responsibilities: 1. Trainee will be able to assist the Director in coordinating daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations, and able to assist the Director in delivering superior service and maximize customer satisfaction. Supervising shifts, training new and current employees.
2. Trainee will be able to assist the Director in responding efficiently and accurately to customer complaints, and also able to regularly assist the Director in reviewing product quality and researching of new vendors
3. Trainee will be able to assist the Director to Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations, propose staff changes in assigned areas, including hiring, promotion, demotion and vacation leave. Coordinating daily front- and back-of-house restaurant operations
4. Trainee will also to assist the Director on estimation of future needs for goods, managing and oversee daily operations and ensure compliance to operations standards and procedures
5. Trainee will be able to assist on managing restaurant\xe2\x80\x99s good image and suggest ways to improve it. And able to control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste. Controlling operational costs and finding ways to reduce waste.
6. Trainee will be able to assist in creating detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses, And able to promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events, and able to assist the Director in recommending ways to reach a broader audience.

4. Duration of Traineeships: 6 months

5. Approved Training Allowance: Mature Mid-Career Individuals - $3800
